MY LIFE AND TRAVELS

I've been writing  stories since I was nine years old. When I wasn't in my room writing stories and inventing worlds, I was in the woods making potions with my best friend. It was the perfect remedy for the dysfunction in my family. Both were. Stories and potions and trees, too. I met a Tibetan lama in my early twenties, just when I had gotten a Morisson Visa for the USA. At the same time, I landed a job in a Polish University. There was a serious fork in the road. Lama said, go East. I did, and I've never regretted it. But I had too many worlds to inhabit, and too many languages to learn: I lived between Poland and India for the majority of those years, until I had my son. I wrote whatever my dreams dictated me to write. And I continue to do so. By 30 I was a published author, proficient in Tibetan and Polish, living between Poland, India and Ireland. It took my son to get me to choose where to land. Now I write fantasy fiction for Middle Grade, and love it more than any genre I've ever written in.

I offer writing workshops that uplift and inspire you beyond your blocks and preconceptions. I use the template of Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey and bring people on writing journeys out of the mundane and into the realms of their own personal and private mythologies. People meet their dragons, their demons and their faery godmothers. It's always magical and sometimes very mysterious.
